About the Position:

 

  • The Case Management Supervisor provides supervision and oversight of the Regional Partnership Program, alongside a program co-coordinator.  The Regional Partnership Program is a statewide program, consisting of Case Managers who are located in the local DCF Family Services office, and who support caregivers who are impacted by substance use, through screening and referral. The Case Management Supervisor works collaboratively with the SUD treatment system and other community resources, in order to ensure timely access to treatment. 
  • The Case Management Supervisor works collaboratively with DCF Family Services staff in order to provide consultation around substance use and its impact on family systems and child safety, as well as the SUD treatment system.
  • The Case Management Supervisor provides individual and group supervision to RPP Case Managers
  • The Case Management Supervisor may provide some case management support to individuals enrolled within the RPP program as necessary.
  • Position typically works traditional hours with no on-call requirements.
  • Hybrid position – Primarily remote based (work from home) in Vermont with some statewide travel required for meetings in DCF District offices or with Treatment providers.
  • Salary Range: $55-$75K annually, based on education and experience. 

What We Look For:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required in Social Work, Counseling or a Human Services related field.
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in the Human Services field, and two years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience providing case management to persons in a substance use, recovery or mental health treatment setting.
  • Apprentice Addiction Professional (AAP) certificate preferred, or the ability to test for certification within first year of employment. Financial support, clinical supervision, and training provided to individuals needing to obtain the AAP certificate.
  • Experience working with families, multidisciplinary teams, and knowledge of Vermont’s treatment system.
  • Must be able to demonstrate each of the following:
    • Strong leadership skills and experience
    • Knowledge of substance misuse and its impact on children and families.
    • Ability to adhere to strong professional boundaries and maintain client confidentiality in line with state and federal regulations.
    • Skilled in the use of technology including Microsoft Suite programs, Electronic Health Records and video conferencing (Zoom and Teams)
    • Strong problem-solving skills and independent decision making
    • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully both orally and in writing. Strong group facilitation skills preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail – data collection and reporting are required, as well as monitoring program quality assurance.  
    • Ability to work independently, as well as on and a team, and be self-motivated
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and accurately, in a busy environment with frequent interruptions.
    • Ability to deescalate and resolve sensitive situations respectfully and without judgement; Quick rapport building is essential to this position.
    • Ability to perform the essential job functions of the position either with or without reasonable accommodation.
